Gov. Tony Evers announces $5.7 million for psychiatric emergency department in Milwaukee

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers announced he would be allocating $5.7 million to the new Mental Health Emergency Center in Milwaukee. The 24/7 psychiatric emergency department is slated to open next year and is a collaboration between Milwaukee County, Advocate Aurora Health, Ascension Wisconsin, Children’s Wisconsin and Froedtert Health.
